Two sisters from a small town in Ohio who never took the backup plan.

Our grandmother used to say it like a warning: idle hands are the devil's work. Keep busy. Stay quiet. Don't cause trouble.

We heard it differently.

We are Kara and Alyssa, twin sisters from Toledo, Ohio, where people had sensible jobs and reasonable dreams. We wanted design school. Our parents were scared. We went anyway.

We found our people. We moved to New York and climbed. Ten years of corporate fashion, then Los Angeles.

Idyll Hands was born for the woman who was told, like us, to be polite. Be useful. Don't take up too much space.

We made jewelry for the woman who is done with that.
